AmericasMart: Day 1

Americasmart 2020. I had the pleasure of attending yesterday, and though I left with aching feet and a very real desire for a coffee....I also left inspired! Would you like to hear my top 3 observations about current design trends? Here we go: 1)Rattan and organic naturals are everywhere. 2)Curvature is reading "oh, so fresh". Bean shaped sofas and circular chairs along with rounded corners on desks and consoles were around every turn. 3)Brass remains a prominent finish (which makes me happy☺️) Being able to take the day to explore endless showrooms of inspiring pieces, displays, colors and fixtures is a lot of fun. But taking the inspiration and bringing it to someone's home to change the way they feel and live is truly the honor.
